Not every thought deserves a workflow.

Quick Notes is the pad in the suite. Notebooks you name. Notes you create, edit, move. Tags you add and filter by. Views: all notes, by notebook, by tag. When the freeze questions become a job, they graduate to Yongo. Until then, they should not live in a ticket type called “note”.

Why Quick Notes

Capture early thinking without forcing it through a business process.

A passing thought should be easy to save and easy to find, but it should not require a project, workflow, or shared document tree. Quick Notes provides a deliberately simple personal layer for ideas that may — or may not — become formal work.

QNT-NB

A notebook is a pile with a name.

Group notes the way you think — by release, by person, by the drawer labelled inbox. Create, rename, delete. The notebook is not a Yongo project. That is the point.

  • Notebooks Full CRUD. A container for thoughts that do not yet owe anyone a status.
  • Move Notes move between notebooks when the filing was wrong. They are not trapped in the first folder you clicked.

QNT-NOTE

A note is the unit. Create, edit, view, delete.

The pad has to be fast or you will open a chat DM to yourself. This is that surface.

  • CRUD Add, view, edit, delete. No scheme. No transition. A sentence with a home.
  • Graduate When the note starts sprouting assignees and due dates, the tracker is next door.

QNT-TAG

Tags are a second cut of the same notes.

Add and remove tags. Filter the whole library by a tag. Refresh the tag list when the vocabulary changes. Three views: all notes, by notebook, by tag.

  • Add & remove Tags on the note. Filter by tag. The vocabulary is yours.
  • Same notes, different cuts All / notebook / tag are views, not copies. One object.
