When is a fact. It should not live in a cell.
Calendar is the suite’s shared time. Calendars you own or are given. Events, including recurring series. Guests and reminders. Share a calendar or an event and the people who need to know get mail. The freeze is Friday 16:00 — on the calendar, on PLATFORM-184, and in DOC-12.

Why Calendar
Give shared work a reliable time layer.
Dates become fragile when they are buried in spreadsheets, messages, or someone’s private calendar. Calendar gives teams a shared place for events, recurring commitments, guests, and reminders alongside the work and documentation they relate to.
-
01
Create a common picture of time
Separate calendars by team or purpose, then view the events you own and the calendars others share with you.
-
02
Handle real schedules
Create recurring series, invite guests, and set reminders instead of rebuilding the same event every week.
-
03
Keep dates connected to context
Use Calendar beside Yongo and Documentador so a release date, its issue, and its runbook remain part of one tenant.
CAL-CALS
Calendars you own, share, or import.
Create a calendar for the team, the company, or the on-call rotation. Share it. Import when the dates already exist somewhere you are trying to leave.
- CRUD Create, edit, delete a calendar. It is an object in the tenant, not a tab in someone else’s product.
- Shared calendars Give people a picture of when, without making them the owner.
- Import Bring a calendar in when the migration is the point of the week.
- Settings Tune how the calendar behaves for you — the same person who also lives in Yongo.
CAL-EVT
An event is a when, optionally a series.
Create, edit, delete. Recurring delete asks whether you mean this occurrence or the series — the boring dialog that prevents a disaster.
- Single & recurring The freeze every Friday, or the 2.4 tag on Wednesday. Both are first-class.
- Search Find the event without scrolling a month of other people’s birthdays.
CAL-WHO
Guests, reminders, and mail when you share.
Bring people in. Ping them before it starts. Sharing a calendar or an event notifies the people who need to know — through the same mail path the rest of the suite uses.
- Guests The people who must show up, not everyone who can browse the space.
- Reminders Before it starts — the unglamorous ping that saves the freeze.
- Share notifications Calendar and event share both send mail. Silent sharing is how dates die.
Same house
The when sits next to the issue and the page.
