Yongo is configured, not hardcoded
A surprising number of trackers still assume a universal catalogue: Open, In Progress, Done. English. One screen. A workflow you can colour but not really own.
Yongo does not. Issue types, sub-tasks, statuses, priorities, resolutions, custom fields, screens, and workflows are set in Yongo Administration for each customer. Names can be in any language. Runtime code looks up schemes from the database instead of comparing labels.
That is why a bank in one country and a factory in another can share the same product and still recognise their own process. It is also why we refuse to branch on words like “closed” in the application — those words are your data, not ours.
If you need a tracker that will still fit after the third reorganisation, this is the load-bearing idea.
